| | | | This year's edition of BrainShare in Salt Palace attracted over 6,000 attendees: current and prospective customers, partners, and Novell-related vendors. The conference clearly demonstrated that Novell will continue to expand its leadership in secure, open platform computing. As proof of this, Novell CEO, Jack Messman said that the company was migrating all of its 6, 000 desktops from Windows to Linux. No doubt, Novell is dead serious about Linux.
As in the previous years, AdRem Software's presence at BrainShare was a huge success. Our booth drew an outstanding number of 1,000 visitors. Many of them represented educational and government institutions, however, there were quite a few IT professionals from the financial and health sectors as well. AdRem's solutions for Novell-centric networks got a very positive reaction from Novell consultants and from our existing customers who offered us valuable feedback and hailed our Freecon and sfConsole as the best tools in their fields on the market. The general atmosphere at the conference was very upbeat and conducive to positive product demonstrations and client discussion.
