NetCrunch runs on Windows machines and it is licensed by the number of monitored nodes and remote connections.

The remote connection license can be used by Web Access and Remote Administration Console.

Editions

Premium editions is recommended for smaller networks - up to 600 monitored nodes.

Premium XE edition is optimized for monitoring large networks and is designated to be run on a dedicated machine. This edition, optimizes the resource usage on the dedicated machine to ensure that all nodes and services are being monitored within the requested time.

We don't recommend to install NetCrunch Server on Windows XP or Vista SP1 because of TCP/IP limitations of some
desktop versions of Windows
