NetCrunch Upgrades

Customers with valid Service Agreement please login to Customers Portal and download your NetCrunch 6 license.

Upgrading from previous versions

Only atlases used in NetCrunch 5.3 can be automatically imported to NetCrunch 6 during the upgrade process. If you own NetCrunch 5 older than version 5.3 and have valid service agreement you have to download version 5.3 from Customers Portal and upgrade to it prior to NetCrunch 6 installation.

Upgrading NetCrunch 6 from trial to full version

AdRem NetCrunch 6.x is a fully functional program in the trial period. Upgrading the program trial to full version requires only installing the purchased Program License. Therefore, the program does not need to be reinstalled. All atlases created in the trial period will be available without any data loss, after the license is installed.

In order to upgrade the trial version of NetCrunch Server 6.x, the following steps need to be performed:

1. Login to your account on MyAdRem portal. The Password and ID can be found in the e-mail received from AdRem software, after purchasing product.
2. Download the AdRem NetCrunch 6.x license files (in .zip file or a combination of *.als and Activate.key files) and save it on your local disk drive. If you download your licenses in a *.zip file, make sure that you unzip them in the same folder immediately after downloading them.
3. In order to install license, use the General » License Manager page available in the program Options window, opened by selecting Tools » Options item from the program menu.

Notes

• The license can be installed on the program while evaluating the program or after the trial period has expired. However, after the trial period expired, only Demonstration Atlas will be available until the product license is installed (your network atlas will not be monitored and the monitoring data will not be gathered).
