| NetCrunch centralizes fault management by collecting and alerting on events from SNMP sources, Windows Event Logs and syslog messages. The program consists of WMI, RPC, SSH and SNMP monitors which allow to monitor a variety of systems and devices. |

| AdRem NetCrunch 5 also contains over 65 built-in Networks Service monitors - the so called intelligent pings, which check if the service responds with the correct answer. |

- user experience monitors for network services like FTP, SMTP, HTTP/S, POP3, DNS
- Remote Desktop Notification client

| NetCrunch 5 offers advanced monitoring of large spread networks using prioritized monitoring, monitoring dependencies and event suppression which allows to suppress false alerts in case of intermediate node failure. |
