"I manage a LAN of over 200 users over a WAN to 6 different remote sites. The Server Management utility has been fantastic. We have always had issues with Arcserve backup on our NetWare servers, therefore can not fully rely on our backups. There have been many occasions when my users have deleted files they desperately needed. It has been so much quicker and more efficient to use the utility to recover these files. It is instant. Arcserve would be a minimum of 40 minutes."

"I use AdRem Server Manager version 4.0.0.770. My favorite functionality is the one that allows me to view who is using a file on the server. I use it a lot when I need to update files from a database for example and when I need to know which users are still connected to the database. It really saves me a lot of time. Thanks for your job."

"We use AdRem Server Manager version 4.0.0.783. I nominate the Trustee Rights export functionality, that gives us the opportunity to save it as an HTML file to a root directory. If a user has dragged a directory to a different place then all the rights are gone when you move it back. Now you know what the rights have to be by looking into this AdRem trustee rights report.
Secondly I nominate the function Opened Files in the Disk Manager section. Here you can see who has opened a specific file. In our case a user wants to open a drawing and sees that someone else has already opened it, but doesn't know who. Now they can call me to check it out with AdRem Server Manager."

"The feature is in Server Manager 4.0.0.777 - Active Users and it is the ease in which you can find the IP address of connected users ie to match name to the number. This helps when using VNC to use a remote console on their machine instead of asking what their number is every time. Very helpful when you have DHCP running."

"I nominate the possibility to print the trustee rights information (on files and directories of NetWare-file-servers volumes) or to be able to export it to HTML and save in the file.
When a user is deleting a lot of directories, it is simple to restore the rights (with the help of the saved file) after a salvage of files and directories. In this way I don't have to restore them from tape."

"I am using Adrem Server Manager 4.0. I like the remote control functionality: it is so much better, and much faster than the built-in remote control (Rconag and Rconsole) in NetWare 6. Every day I sing its praises."

"I am presently using Adrem Server Manager to administer and maintain over 40 Novell servers world wide for a Major Aircraft, Space and Industrial Servo Valve manufacturing company. Adrem Server Manager is the single greatest tool that any Network Administrator could have in his toolbox. We use it to move directories and files between servers complete with all attributes and NetWare rights in one click. We can find files that are locked open and release them in seconds. One of the best tools of Adrem Server Manager is the "Quick Tasks" feature, we use it to automate many different server operations. We like to use Adrem Server Manager's "Quick Tasks" feature to automate the distribution of the anti-virus signature files to all of our servers in an emergency virus alert situation. It's also a great tool for graphically monitoring the performance (CPU, memory, network performance) of our servers and we can identify potential problems immediately. If you like to work in a GUI environment then this is the product for you, I don't know how I would get along without it. Every associate that I've introduced Adrem Server Manager to so far is using the product today. After seeing it's capabilities they just have to have it."

"I love your product!!! It is better than sliced bread!!! My favorite feature is the ease with which you can see who has open files. I also just like that fact that it is a Swiss Army Knife sort of utility. It is great for day to day administration."

"My favorite feature of Server Manager is the ability to find out exactly which users are using the most utilization. I also like the ability to monitor and track server trends."
