Why I can't see version 12 in the customer portal yet?

Dear Customer,

From one point of view, we're glad you are eager to upgrade to version 12. However, we know that this particular release is one of these that contain breaking changes.

We've deleted some features, and others we've reimplemented. It might cause problems when upgrading, and foremost we wanted to avoid any program usage disruption.

User experience may suffer when navigation changes or selected features are removed. For example, initially, we had removed a couple of features. After receiving feedback, we've decided to implement them again (i.e., automated full screen, custom SNMP views).

After consideration, we've decided to execute this vital release as a soft launch, leaving us more time for testing, collecting feedback from existing NetCrunch customers, and fixing things if they are not received well.

Of course, if you can't wait any longer, you can safely install version 12.0.2 in the production environment as we do not know of any significant issues with this version.

There's version 12.1 coming soon. It will include language versions plus a few new features and fixes based on the feedback we have received from you so far.
