10 13th, 2008It’s time to shed some light on the non-SNMP, yet agentless monitoring of Mac OS available in NetCrunch 5.1. Of course NetCrunch enables you to access all the data available via SNMP, but when our developers say “multiplatform monitoring”, they mean much more information then SNMP alone can provide.
What NetCrunch offers is instant access to crucial system parameters of your Mac OS machines. With NetCrunch 5.1, you will be able to monitor: logged in users, processor utilization, memory usage, and many others.

News from AdRem labs: NetCrunch 5.1 is coming!
09 25th, 2008This week Adrem Blog Team has visited our developers, and has got hot news about the next update of NetCrunch. The head of software architects revealed 3 new exciting features:
1. Mac OS X monitoring. No, not via SNMP, and still agentless. You will have to hold your breath until the next post for details about this one.
2. Node relationships will be revealed. What kind of relationships? Stay tuned for the next post.
3. Rapid monitoring. And by that we mean even 1 second monitoring intervals!
…and that’s all we can reveal for the moment
