The GUI Isn't Disappearing. Its Job Is Changing.
AI agents will increasingly investigate problems, navigate complex systems and initiate operational work. That does not mean visual interfaces disappear. Dashboards, charts and structured controls solve different problems than conversation does. The future of network operations is not GUI versus AI, but a different division of work between humans, software and intelligent agents.
