AdRem Software shared NetCrunch 9.3 with thousands of IT professionals in Austin, TX at the SpiceWorld 2016 conference
NetCrunch 9.3 was launched at the SpiceWorld 2016 convention in Austin, TX on November 1st. The newest version of AdRem Software's flagship network monitoring system offers hundreds of changes and 30 new features.
NetCrunch is an all-in-one and agentless network, server, application, file, log and web monitoring suite, offering deep visibility and unmatched scalability. Hundreds of popular devices and applications are supported out-of-the-box and the company has partnerships with Cisco, VMWare and Microsoft. NetCrunch is also the only mainstream monitoring solution that is certified Cisco Compatible.
The SpiceWorld 2016 conference is an elite-level event with limited vendors and thousands of IT pros in attendance.
"It's been an amazing show, and we loved the response that NetCrunch has received" says Michael Rojek of AdRem Software. "Getting this kind of interaction with IT professionals is very valuable."|
NetCrunch 9.3 has introduced 13 new introductions with messaging services and help desks, like JIRA, ConnectWise and OpsGenie. There has also been a large focus on GUI improvements, with new smart pages for intuitive navigation, an improved graphical map editor, and a Nodes Overview dashboard for visualizing smaller networks and maps.
"Proper data visualization is critical in a monitoring solution." says Tomasz Kunicki, AdRem Software’s founder and CEO. "What good is data if you can't read it? NetCrunch 9.3 offers intuitive and automatic mapping features that let systems and network administrators quickly visualize where problems are happening to significantly reducing time to resolution."
The newest release of NetCrunch also makes massive improvements to its already tiny footprint and class-leading scalability. The administration console now uses 30% less memory than before, and a single server can now support over 1,000,000 monitored elements.
"We've taken a two-pronged approach to development in this release" adds Tomasz Kunicki. "Users with smaller networks now have the Nodes Overview dashboard, while our incredible scalability lets us support enterprise networks with ease."
Visitors to the AdRem Software stand at SpiceWorld 2016 were understandably wowed by the software, and were appreciative of being able to interact directly with NetCrunch engineers. The offer of free installation help with every download was also well-received, as they can try the software for free and have live assistance in setting up a proof-of-concept before they make any decisions.
