To define a new device type, go to the Top Menu and select: Settings->Resources->Device Type Manager. In the Device List Editor window, click the Add device definition button.
When defining a new device type, you can select from the list or add a new Device Class, Manufacturer, and Model. Optionally, sysObjectId and Description can also be added.
After adding a new device type, you can assign an icon to it. To do it, select the newly added device type, click the Edit button, and then select the appropriate icon.
