To disable the monitoring engine (OS, SNMP) on a single or multiple nodes (using multiselection):

Select node(s) on a node list and enter Node Settings (
RMB->Node Settings) -
Click the cogwheel icon on the right side of the OS monitoring engine

Click the stopwatch icon in the upper-left part of the OS engine settings window
-
Hit the "Save" and "OK" buttons to exit.
