I have changed the password to our NetCrunch account and moved it into our Domain Admins group. Now it's come to my attention that our domain controller is having thousands of Bad Password Events for this account. Is there somewhere else I need to update the password for this account?
First of all, make sure to change Windows monitor credentials globally in NetCrunch.
To do it, go to Monitoring->Credential Manager (NC 11) or Settings->Monitoring->Monitoring Credentials Manager in v12. Also, make sure that there are no nodes with custom settings for the Windows monitoring engine.
