To change alerting and reporting rules of the selected monitoring pack:
1. From the toolbar menu select Tools->Alerting & Reporting->Settings. NetCrunch Alerting & Reporting Settings window displays.
2. Double click the selected monitoring pack.
3. On Monitoring Pack Settings window select alert (event or alerting script) or report and click Edit button from the toolbar menu.
4. If the selected monitoring pack is not the dynamic pack view you can add nodes to it by using Add Nodes button on the Assigned to tab.
The predefined monitoring packs are created as dynamic and blank (static) pack views. Nodes included in enabled dynamic pack views are automatically updated by NetCrunch. Blank policy views do not contain any nodes. You need to add the selected map or nodes to such packs for monitoring.
