CPU utilization on a Linux machine can be monitored with a built-in Linux counters in NetCrunch or with SNMP counters.
When the first method is used, make sure that NetCrunch is successfully logged into monitored Linux machine.
Second method requires properly configured SNMP agent on Linux machine.
