You may only insert manually node to a map belonging to the Custom Views section and Physical Segments main map.
Adding nodes to the maps belonging to the Physical Segments section (e.g. Segment map) is not permitted. Maps belonging to this section are considered physical representations of a local network.
When node is added to atlas, after discovery it is automatically added to relevant: IP Networks map, predefined Custom Views map and Physical Segments map (when enabled and Layer 2 Device is added).
