NetCrunch can auto-discover new nodes in the monitored network for you and add them to the appropriate logical map in the IP Networks section without any addition action. Just add node to atlas and find it in the proper IP Networks map.
To add a node to IP networks map:
- From Right Top Menu select
+button andIP Node. - On Add IP Node to the Atlas window type node's DNS name or IP address.
- Click
OK. - Go through Node Settings Wizard.
- Added node is placed in appropriate IP Network logical map. You can open proper map and check it.
Note:
Add Node option (from step 1.) is available also from Atlas->Add->Node->IP Node.
