Node Connection Status on Windows tab

What do the different colored dots mean in the Windows tab?

Applies to 6.x

The following colors are used to indicate the current OS monitor connection state of the node:

  • Green - AUTHENTICATED - NetCrunch is connected remotely to this machine, logged in and should display %Processor Utilization and % Memory Utilization counters. If these counters are not coming up, click here.

  • Red - ERROR - either means disabled or invalid password. See the logon status column to find out which. However, keep in mind that the node is up and responding to NetCrunch monitoring requests.

  • Gray - UNKNOWN - The node is not available at this time. NetCrunch cannot connect to the nodes at all. It is most likely down. How to rectify.

  • Clock Icon - DISABLED BY TIME RESTRICTION

  • Plug Icon - DISABLED BY DEPENDENCY RULE
