In some cases, Linux machines may not appear properly on the Hyper-V/VM tab because NetCrunch can't discover their IP addresses from Hyper-V hosts.
The first thing to check here is the Hyper-V manager - check if the machine that is listed there has an IP Address displayed in the 'networking tab'.
If the address is not available (visible), the linux-tools and linux-cloud tools (along with all dependencies) need to be installed on the Linux system. Keep in mind that the tools version should be compatible with your Linux version.
After installation - reboot the virtual machine and check the 'networking tab' in the Hyper-V manager again. If the IP address is available (visible) now, NetCrunch will be able to get this data and assign proper Hyper-V host to the Linux machine and display it in the Hyper-V/VM view.
