NetCrunch Server backup using external tools (7.x-8.x)

How can I backup NetCrunch Server using external tools? For an example I would like to backup using Symantec Backup Exec

It's possible to backup server data using any sort of backup software.

Disable NetCrunch automatic backup Right click on Network Atlas and go to 'Properties->Monitoring' Disable Schedule automatic Atlas backup
Before running backup tools: Disable AdRem NetCrunch Server service, this can be done directly from services or using Stop NetCrunch service shortcut from start menu. Stop AdRem NetCrunch Advanced SQL Server from Services
Backup data with external software
After backup: Start AdRem NetCrunch Server service or use Start Netcrunch server shortcut from start menu AdRem NetCrunch Advanced SQL server should start automatically
