NetCrunch Server backup using external tools

How can I backup NetCrunch Server using external tools? For an example I would like to backup using Symantec Backup Exec

It's possible to backup server data using any sort of backup software. Please do the following:

Disable NetCrunch automatic backup: right click on Network Atlas and go to Properties->Maintanance. Uncheck Schedule automatic Atlas backup check box.
Before running backup tools: disable AdRem NetCrunch Server service (this can be done directly from Services or using Stop NetCrunch Server shortcut from start menu) Stop AdRem NetCrunch Advanced SQL Server from Services.
Backup data with external software.
After backup: start AdRem NetCrunch Server service or use Start Netcrunch server shortcut from start menu. AdRem NetCrunch Advanced SQL server should start automatically.
