Go to Tools->Alerting & Reporting->Settings->Exchange 2003.
Double click Exchange 2003 monitoring pack.
Click the Add Alert button in Monitoring Pack Settings window. Add Monitoring Event window displays.
Under Windows Application Performance Threshold section on Windows tab:
a. double click one of available thresholds to add it to the Exchange monitoring pack.
b. double click Select to Create New Windows Application Performance Threshold option to define a new threshold . Edit Event Definition window displays.
Define new threshold parameters, set the performance counter rule and click OK.
Monitoring Pack Settings window displays all added threshold events. To define or change actions for these events, double click the selected event. Edit Alerting Script window displays.
Expand Predefined.. menu to select one of already defined actions or click Add button to define a new one. The Add Action window displays.
