NetCrunch includes the list of predefined network and application services that can be monitored: Tools->Options->Monitoring->Network Services.
The list can be extended in 3 ways:
- You can define new service to check if the specific port is opened,
- It is possible to define new service to be monitored by giving the request and response data from the packets to provide more accurate check,
- An existing service definition can be duplicated to create the same service but on different port number.
