Importing and compiling a MIB file into NetCrunch

Applies to 12.x 11.x 10.x

I have downloaded several MIBs. I want to configure NetCrunch to view these OIDs.

  1. Go to Tools -> SNMP MIB Database & Compiler.
  2. Click Compile & Add button to compile custom MIB.
  3. Click Add MIB Files button and browse to folder where you saved custom MIB file.
  4. Click NEXT and Compile.

Once the process is finished, NetCrunch displays status of the operation. You can view the newly imported OIDs in the MIB Browser - MIB Database window (click Browse).
