How to define a new report

1. Go to Tools->Alerting & Reporting->Settings.
2. Double-click the selected monitoring pack.
3. Switch to Reports tab and click Add Report icon to define a new report. Add Report window displays.
4. Double-click the selected report template. Edit Report parameters window displays.
5. Enter report name (you may also provide report description).
6. Click Add Counter option and select one of available counters group from the drop down menu. The Add Counter window displays.
7. Select the source node: from dropdown list or click the Browse for Atlas nodes button and select the node.
8. Select performance object contained desired counter.
9. Select a counter from the list below. The counter description is in the field at the bottom of the window.
10. After selecting a counter from the list, choose an instance from the list on the right and click Add.
11. Click Close in the Add Counter window.
12. Provide the desired selections in the Edit Report Parameters window related to the report preparation.
13. Select the Save as common definition check box if you want add the newly created event to the list in the Add Monitoring Event window. Click OK. In the Monitoring Pack Settings window, the added report appears on the list with the default Enabled state assigned. This report can be generated and viewed in the Report Viewer program.
14. Click the Edit icon in the window toolbar and select the Edit Report Scheduling item from the list. Alternatively, double-click the selected report. The Edit Report Scheduling window displays.
15. Select the appropriate check boxes in the Generate field on the left of the predefined schedule time located in the Description field. The selected report will be saved to a pdf file at the specified time schedule. Alternatively, click the Modify Report Scheduling Scheme link located at the bottom to define a new time schedule in the Edit Report Scheduling Scheme window.
16. Click the + icon in the Mail Report To... field to add the recipients from the defined users list. The selected report will be sent to the selected user at the specified time. Click OK. Alternatively, click the icon to remove recipient from the Mail Report To... field.
17. Click OK to close the Monitoring Pack Settings window and finish the data collection creation process.

Note: You can add multiple counters by selecting them and clicking Add button. In order to finish the operation click Close.

For reports that do not contain performance counters skip steps 5-11.
