To add a new SNMP counter or trap to monitoring we recommend creating new Monitoring Pack or using existing one and defining a threshold so you can easily add it later to the nodes. To add a counter to an existing Monitoring Pack please do the following:
- Go to
Tools->Settings->Alerting&Reporting - Select an existing SNMP Monitoring Pack, for an example Cisco
- Click
Add Alertand selectSNMPtab - Now you can choose between SNMP performance counter and SNMP trap
- After you have made your choice please select a value from MIB or enter a specific OID, select the threshold and resetting value then click
OK
