NetCrunch comes with predefined virtual counter to monitor % of Bandwidth Utilization.
To set up a chart, go to Performance Views
- Right click on Performance
Views->New->Blank Chart View. - in any working space, right click
->New->Chart - in next window, Select the node, click next (note: Switch or router needs to be SNMP enabled)
- in next window click 'Add counter' button and select SNMP Performance Counters (predefined counters)
- from the 'Performance Object' pull down menu, select '.NCVC.SNMP.Interfaces' option
- select FD or HD Bandwidth Utilization
- select Instance (like _Total, or Specific Interface ID)
- click add, repeat to add more than one counter
- click Close and 'OK' when done.
