Working with imported, non-standard, MIB variables

I try to monitor Cisco Catalyst switches with NetCrunch. I know how to get the values from standart MIB variables, but I want to check non-standard variables as well. I've got MIB-files (with "my" extension) from Cisco's FTP site and have compiled them with SNMP MIB manager. What does it do to those files during compilation? And where can I see values of the variables which those files consist of?

Applies to 12.x 11.x 10.x 9.x 8.x 7.x 6.x

When the compilation is made the new OIDs are just added from the third party MIB file to the NetCrunch MIB Database. Then it is possible to monitor them or to set the threshold on their values.

In order to find newly compiled MIB, simply use search window and type in desired variable.
