How to change default SNMP properties

Applies to 7.x

Tools->Options->Monitoring->Node Defaults

You can specify the default SNMP profile, port, timeout and retry count for any newly discovered or inserted nodes to the current atlas.

To view information about a node using SNMP, an actual SNMP agent must be running on the node, itself. If there is no SNMP agent running, even if the SNMP Manageable check box is selected for the node (Node settings->SNMP->SNMP manageable check box), no SNMP information about it will be available in NetCrunch.

Note: In case of problems with SNMP monitoring or physical segments such as delays, it is suggested to specify higher values for the SNMP Retry Count and/or SNMP Timeout.
