The heartbeat event can only be configured at the atlas level. You can set it up to be generated every number of minutes or hours; or daily at specific time.
To create a Heartbeat alert in NetCrunch, please follow these steps:
- click on the 'Policies' button on main program toolbar
- double click on
Atlasto edit monitoring policy - click
Addbutton to add an event - from 'Basic' tab select
NetCrunch heartbeatevent and set it up - click
OKto finish - in order to add an action, double click on the event you've created
- click
Addbutton to set up an action that will be triggered with heartbeat event - click
OKto close window
