Configuring an email, SMS, or pager alert

First define the event and alert as shown in steps of related kb article: Defining an event

Then add the alert by following the next steps:

1. double click on defined event
2. click 'Add' button to add an action that will be executed immediately or delayed (Note: You can add more than one action to the selected event).
3. from the 'Basic' tab you can select one of the following actions: email, sms via GSM, sms via email or Jabber
4. select one of the above
5. type in a description, fill in necessary parameters (Note: i.e., email, sms gateway, etc.)
6. if it's an email, type in email address
7. from 'Message format' pull down menu, select desired format. (Note: You can modify message format. See details article
8. click 'OK' when done
